Invitation and Regulations for the 24th Frankfurt Mainova Half Marathon

Organiser

The Half Marathon will be held according to the regulations of the DLV (German Athletics Association) and under the supervision of the Hessian Athletics Association. It is open to both club runners and amateur runners. The event organiser is Eventpower GmbH, Fuchsstr. 34, 64291 Darmstadt.

Course
21.0975 km, 100% road, mainly flat, precisely measured according to AIMS rules, with every kilometre marked. The measurement protocol is available. The race is eligible for official best-time results. The time limit for the race is 2:45 hours. The finish line will close after this time.
Participation Limit
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 11,000 athletes.
Race Documents
All race documents will be sent to participants by mail. The cost for postage is included in the entry fee. Participants with a foreign address must collect their race documents on the day of the event up to 1 hour before the start.
Postal dispatch of bib numbers will begin on 16th February, 2026.

The grounds of the Deutsche Bank Park can be entered on 22nd March , 2026, starting at 08:00 AM.
It is prohibited to bring dogs or bicycles onto the Deutsche Bank Park grounds.
Pacemakers
We have at least the following pacemakers for you: End (2:44:59), 2:09:59, 1:59:59, 1:54:59, 1:49:59, 1:44:59, 1:39:59, 1:29:59, 1:24:59. We will inform you about any additional pacemakers in the final weeks before the event.
Classification
• For the Elite Race (all age groups):
• Men with a personal best time under 1:17 hours.
• Women with a personal best time under 1:30 hours.
• Note: For the Elite Race prize it is the order of finish over the line which determines the placement, not the chip time!
• For the Main Race: Women and men from the main class in five-year increments up to age group W/M 80.
Team Scoring
Teams consist of 3 runners (women or men) without age group designation.
District Championships (Kreismeisterschaften)
The Athletics District of Frankfurt am Main will host the Half Marathon District Championships as part of this race. Scoring is only for the active class in individual and team categories; separate age group scoring will not take place. All runners from Frankfurt athletics clubs with a valid DLV starting pass, who are also registered under the club name, are eligible for scoring.
Registration and Logistics
Entry Fee
The entry fee is tiered:
• 1 to 1,000 entries: €35.00
• 1,001 to 2,500 entries: €42.00
• 2,501 to 5,000 entries: €46.00
• From 5,001 entries: €50.00
• Online late registration: €55.00
• On-site late registration: €60.00
A medal and the official Finisher Shirt can be purchased as an optional extra during registration.
The entry fee includes an RMV Ticket that allows free round-trip travel on the day of the event.
Time Measurement
Time measurement is exclusively carried out using the official bib number. A timing chip from Datasport Germany GmbH is a fixed part of the bib number. No return of the transponder is necessary, so the bib number can be taken home as a souvenir. There are no extra costs or a deposit. This also applies to late registrants. Participation is not possible without the official bib number.
Registration
The bib number will be posted to you. Participants with a foreign address must pick up their documents on race day no later than 1 hour before the start. Billing is handled by Datasport Germany GmbH on behalf of Spiridon Frankfurt e.V.
Registration Deadline
1st February 2026, or if the participation limit is exceeded before this date.
If the participation limit has not been reached by 1st February 2026, online late registration will be possible until 1st March 2026, but only until the participant limit has been reached.
Certificates/Results Lists/DLV Stamp
These will be provided online via the results list at www.frankfurter-halbmarathon.de.
Medical Care
Medical services (Sanitätsdienst) are provided on the course and in the finish area.

Bag Drop
There is a bag drop service available in the Deutsche Bank Park (1st floor, Ostkurve/East Stand).
Race Refreshments
• On the Course and at the Finish:
• Water – natural (at 5 km, 10 km, and 16 km)
• Isofit (various flavours) from Rosbacher (at 10 km and 16 km, and at the finish).
• At the Finish (additional): Non-alcoholic beer from Krombacher, bananas from Querbeet.
Arrival/Directions
• S-Bahn: Lines S8 and S9 to “Stadion” station.
• Tram: Tram line 21 to “Stadion” station.
• Travel Ticket: Your bib number serves as your ticket for free travel on all buses, trams, light rail (Stadtbahn), local trains, and S-Bahn services within the Rhein-Main Transport Association (RMV) area on the day of the event. A complete overview of the RMV tariff area is available here.
• Parking (Parking lots open at 7:15 AM): Parking is available at the “Waldparkplatz” and the “Parkplatz am Gleisdreieck”. Please follow the signs. A parking fee of €5 (cash) will be charged. Even if you received your race documents by mail, please allow enough time for parking and the walk from the parking lot to the start.
Prizes and Terms
Prizes
The winner (male and female) as well as the runners in second to fifth place will receive the following cash prizes: €500, €400, €300, €200, €100. These prizes are only for participants in the Elite Race. Prizes will only be awarded during the award ceremony and will not be given to third parties. Prizes will not be sent by post! Due to poor participation in the past, there will be no award ceremony or prizes for age group placement.
Award Ceremony
1:00 PM in the stadium for the five fastest women and men.
Course Records
The course record for the Frankfurt Mainova Half Marathon is 1:12:53 h for women and 1:02:36 h for men. If the winner (male or female) runs a faster time than the course record, they will receive a special bonus.
Terms of Participation
1. The organisers or their representatives are not liable for damages arising from participation in the Half Marathon or associated events, unless caused by intent or gross negligence. This also applies to personal items (clothing, valuables, etc.) left in the event area.
2. I acknowledge the competition rules of the DLV, especially the anti-doping regulations.
3. I declare that I have trained sufficiently, am physically healthy, and my health status has been medically confirmed for this competition.
4. I assure that my stated year of birth is correct and that I will not pass my bib number to any other person.
5. I understand that I will be disqualified if I leave the official course, modify the bib number in any way (especially obscuring the advertising print), or am accompanied by persons on sports equipment (inline skates, bicycles, etc.).
6. In the event of non-appearance, cancellation of the event, or interruption due to force majeure, I have no claim to a refund of the organisational fee or additional services booked.
7. The personal data provided during registration will be stored and processed for the purpose of organising and managing the event. I specifically consent to the storage of my bank and credit card data for payment processing and, if registered by me, also for the purpose of future payment processing.
8. The participant's name, first name, year of birth, age group, club (or residence), bib number, and result (placement and times) may be printed or published in all relevant event-related media (print products like programme booklets, results lists, and CDs, as well as on the internet and in the daily press) for the purpose of displaying start and results lists.
9. The participant's name, first name, year of birth, age group, club (or residence), bib number, and result (placement, points, and times) may be passed on to the relevant scorers and published for the purpose of displaying interim and final results within the framework of series and cup rankings.
10. Stored personal data may be passed on to a commercial third party for the purpose of time measurement, creating results lists, and publishing these lists on the internet.
11. Photos, film recordings, and interviews made in connection with the participant's participation in the event (in radio, television, print media, books, photo-mechanical reproductions) may be distributed and published by the organiser without claim to compensation—including on the internet. The participants' or authors' own rights of exploitation remain unaffected by this regulation.

• The participant has the option to purchase photos of their run after the event via the website www.sportonline-foto.de. Due to the nature of the run, there is no guarantee that photos or video of every participant will be available.
• By participating in the event, the participant consents to the creation and storage of the photos and videos and their publication on www.sportonline-foto.de. This includes forwarding image and video data to third parties (data centre, quality control, etc.) for the purposes of creating offers and fulfilling orders. The images and videos can be viewed and purchased on www.sportonline-foto.de by anyone entering the bib number.
• The participant can object to the publication of their photos and videos on www.sportonline-foto.de at any time by sending a message to
• Data processing is permitted according to Art. 6 Para. 1 a) and b) GDPR.
• Access to the images will be blocked 24 months after the end of the event, and the images will be deleted from the web server no later than 36 months after the end of the event.
12. I acknowledge that I can object to the disclosure of my personal data to the organiser at any time in writing or by e-mail. I further acknowledge that with this objection, my proper participation in the competition is no longer possible, and my right to participate in the competition is thus no longer valid.
13. By registering a minor participant, the legal guardians consent to the above conditions, especially the storage and use of personal data in the forms and for the purposes mentioned above.
